I went in for a breast MRI. It was my first MRI ever. The technician was very indifferent, not much bedside manner. Her answer to whether it was cold in there and do I need socks was "I don't know". When asked whether I should take my shoes off or not - "If you want to". I had to ask for headphones and music which turned out to be a nightmare since my MRI was face down so I did not use them. I asked for something to hold my hair back since I was face down - ignored. She did ask me if I was allright a couple of times but that was the extent of any "care" I received. Breast MRI's are usually done because the person has just received a diagnosis of breast cancer and the emotion that comes with that. This particular technician could have cared less.
