Ridgedale Surgery Center is terrible! I've been there 3 times and while most of the nurses and doctors are very kind, the receptionist are a hit or miss. You must show up 1 hour early to "fill out paper work" ; I and my husband waited an average of 1hour and 45 minutes . The second visit the receptionist was very, very rude. While I cried in pain, she told me not once, but 4 times that I needed to stop because in was "scaring" the 1 other patient. I waited over an hour for my procedure in the bathroom, crying on pain on the floor. It was one if not THE most embarrassing moment of my life. The third time my husband waited almost 2 hours (on an empty stomach) and when he final got in, they made him stay awake during his procedures, although he told the anesthesiologist he was very uncomfortable with the idea they did not listen. Do not go here unless it's life or death, I personally will NEVER go back no matter what.

Took my mother for a routine colonoscopy / endoscopy. Waited 2 hours before they called her in for a SCHEDULED procedure. Appointment was for 10:45 got called in at 12:45. Staff-nurses and receptionists were cold and rude. I am a nurse. I would NEVER take someone to this facility. Disorganized and just rude. In the 2 hours that we waited (my mother not having had anything to eat or drink other than a colon prep in 36 hours) no one even came out to apologize for the delay or even acknowledge us, and were annoyed when we asked about how long the procedure would take. In the competitive market of healthcare today don't give your time and money to a facility and group of Drs that doesn't care about their patients. Completely Unacceptable.
