The facility and staff were wonderfully personable, pleasant, and caring. They answered my questions with thought and concern. The physicians spoke with me, not at me. Should I need further treatments, I will be returning!

Avoid this shitty place if you can. They have the best doctors but the WORST NURSES that will give you the worst care and will drive you to suicide mode if they do not kill you. I was there on 12/23/2022 @ 11 am. Dr. Weber has been my Dr. for over ten years best Dr. you could ever wish for, and that is why I chase him wherever I can see him. I usually see him on the North side, where the staff is always excellent and on top of their A-game. 38th street nurses are just what it sounds like. War zone. These nurses are rough for no apparent reason. Horrible bedside manners. They ask questions and answer them instead of waiting for the patient to answer; they use generic paperwork that has nothing to do with my condition, and they have me confused the entire time. The nurse told me I would be bleeding for four weeks; Dr. came in and said no three days. The nurse says Dr. will give you Norco for your pain, so you need stool softener, so I ask my husband to get stool softener. The doctor says no, you should not use Norco for this procedure (glad no Norco). It's pretty simple naproxen should help with the pain. So now I have stool softener for no reason, but no big deal. The nurse says all these piercings need to come off because you might swallow or they might burn. Dr says no, these are just for anesthesia purposes. These nurses confused the daylights out of me. They had no clue about HIPPA; patients' rights are not their business. The unit manager sucks at her job; she is there to feed her ego than talk to patients and make them comfortable. What a joke. Doctors that do the procedures are more humble and show respect to patients. Nurses are there to harass patients and spike their blood pressure and laugh at you. This was a nightmare. You will walk out of this place, ready to jump off a cliff.PTSD from this place will take a while to heal, if it ever heals. These nurses traumatized me for the two hours I was there. Even in recovery!!! Once I opened my eyes!! She would care less if I fell over while I got dressed. Hahaha, what a joke. I should have canceled this procedure and saved my mental health because this has seriously done more harm than good—day one post-surgery—pain level 0. No one swallowed anything or burnt me. So all these nurses were fussing for no reason. Dr. Weber was very chill. I asked him a few questions before surgery he calmly answered me, and I was content with his answers more than what the nurses had put me through. It took him 2 minutes!!! It took the nurse 30 minutes because Nurse Adrianne had to report me to the Unit manager about the piercing, so they both had to gather around the nurse station with three other nurses. This unit manager had to flex her title and walk in like she was coming in for a fight wft. Anyway, this was uncalled for .unacceptable. She should not be allowed to breathe on her own, leave alone work with patients. She violates patient privacy and patients' rights. She did not call me to schedule my appointment; she has no clue what I am going through to try and be rude. She needs to check herself before she checks patients. RUDE AF.

The best Doctors, horrible nurses, with awful attitudes and atrocious bedside manners, the Unit manager that was there on 12/23/2022 @ 11 am was rude as any terrible nurse on the face of the city. It is not even about money; she is racist AF, egotistic, and has no clue that patients know their rights. I played stupid to see how foolish she gets, and she was way out there, so blind to see that she was violating my rights. This is my body. I drove myself to that hospital, so for her to start dictating what I could do was simply wrong. There is a reason patients sign consent forms. Once I sign that piece of paper, you must stop talking to me. But this woman nurse thought she knew better. She will make someone commit suicide. Adrianne was another nurse who questioned why my kids had a significant age gap. And then went on to say that she only had one kid because she had money and she could afford the kid. Jesus Christ. I felt judged by these nurses. But way at one point, she even told me to take my advice and calm myself down because my blood pressure was too high; she did not give AF about it. But...... I told her she was doing a good job and thought I was serious, so she kept throwing jabs at me. At one point, I was hoping to sleep and not wake up from my surgery!! Because of these two human nurses. These nurses were so horrible it felt like war!! I know 38th is rough, but the nurses match the building. If you can avoid this location, please do. If you like being mistreated, that is fine. They were rough for no reason. The unit manager nurse, all her flexing was uncalled for, but this is just me venting online, not that anything will change; they will probably hire five more like her. I need to cancel my follow-up appointment if that is where I need to go because I cannot go to war again. They need to shut that place down. This building is rough! You have to have tough skin to put up with some rude nurses that do not give a shit that is just miserable with their lives. Adrianne was giving me generic shit that had nothing to do with my condition, saying I will be bleeding for four weeks; Dr. walked in, and I asked questions. Dr looks surprised and says no, this is minor, and the bleeding should only last three days or less, with minimal bleeding. Adrianne, with her generic info, said, you will need stool softener, so I asked hubby to buy some Dr. walked in and said nope, this should be very easy. It would be best if you only were on Naproxen, not Norco, so there is no need for stool softener. Cannot make this shit up.
