I would NOT recommend this facility for any type of surgery. I had entered for a face lift procedure and left with a punctured cheek, which had to be cauterized and left a whole at my jawline. (no explanation) I was dismissed eventhough I had a blood clot clogging the drainage line. ( I had conveyed my discomfort prior to dismissal, but was discharged anyway). This clot resulted in 1/2 of my face swelling to grotesques proportions. When I saw the surgeon the next day, he was visibly distressed. I needed immediate attention! He had to make several incisions to alleviate the pressure and release the accumulating blood. It has been several months since the surgery and I am still suffering the results of the poor care I received at the Riverside Outpatient Surgery Center.

Their Billing is A SCAM. I was scheduled for 120 minutes of surgery time, for which I paid in full, in cash, in advance. My ANESTHESIA took my payment for the full 120 minute procedure. My ACTUAL procedure only took 90 minutes. The ANESTHESIA group gave me a refund for the 30 minutes I did NOT use. When I contacted the surgery center to ask for my REFUND for the time I DID NOT USE in the surgery center, the rep., Phil, brusquely said, “oh there was paperwork that started that there were no refunds. So you’ll never get any refund for your time not used.” I asked Phil if I would have been charged more if I had used more time, he said, “of course!” So Riverside Surgical Center, Upper Arlington, is making THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS revenue for time that patients are NOT using in that facility. Downright S-C-A-M!
