Typical of a modern American healthcare institute, they DO NOT care about the patient--just the money. They have no intent to work with you on paying your ENORMOUS bill, and, if you're late, they tack on 33.33% as "penalty". That's a pretty ridiculous penalty for falling behind on bills because life happened and you couldn't get to it right away. And because SPSC is so kind and caring about their patients, you think they'll help you out on that "penalty" (maybe reduce it or take it off completely) if you show interest in paying them? HELL NO!! Nope, they want all their money, up front, no exceptions, no breaks, no anything! This place represents everything that's wrong with our healthcare system in America. If you want to support a broken system that only cares about profits, not patients, then by all means, go here for your surgical needs. Otherwise, I recommend shopping around (if you can at all help it, of course).

In my experience they have a horrible organizational culture of PACU nurses bullying patients directly after surgery.
